By accessing or using MealZo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
MealZo is an AI-powered meal planning web application that generates personalized weekly meal plans and grocery lists based on user preferences. The service is provided as is and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
3. Medical and nutrition disclaimer
IMPORTANT: MealZo is not a medical service. All meal plans, nutrition information, and dietary suggestions generated by MealZo are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, dietary advice, or nutritional counseling. You should not rely on this information as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified health provider regarding any medical condition, dietary requirements, or before starting any new diet. MealZo is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from use of meal plans generated by the service.
4. Price estimates disclaimer
Grocery price estimates shown in MealZo are approximate and for general guidance only. Actual prices will vary based on your location, chosen store, current market conditions, season, and product availability. MealZo does not guarantee the accuracy of any price estimates and is not responsible for any discrepancy between estimated and actual grocery costs.
5. User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use MealZo.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse MealZo. Prohibited activities include attempting to reverse engineer the service, using automated tools to scrape or overload the service, creating multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits, or using the service for any illegal purpose.
7. Allergen disclaimer
IMPORTANT: MealZo relies on AI to generate meal plans and ingredient lists. While we allow users to specify allergies and dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that all generated meal plans will be free from specific allergens. Always carefully review all ingredients in any meal plan before preparing or consuming food, especially if you have severe allergies or dietary restrictions. MealZo is not liable for any allergic reactions or dietary issues resulting from use of our meal plans.
8. Intellectual property
The MealZo name, logo, and application are owned by MealZo. Meal plans generated for you are yours to use personally. You may not resell or commercially distribute meal plans generated by MealZo without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealZo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, financial loss from grocery purchases, or data loss. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MealZo shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
